OK hotel in nice location just next to the caste. A moderate walk from the metro uphill but totally doable. Decent breafest and good value for money.

We had a great stay at The Green Lobster Hotel which is in a really beautiful location, nestled in the cobbled streets just below the Castle. The traditional styled rooms really hit the mark for me and my partner! The staff were extremely pleasant. The generous breakfast was fresh with lots of choice. The room was attended by room service each day even though we stayed for only 3 nights. This hotel is only a short walk from Charles Bridge which affords easy access to the centre of Prague but is far enough away from the crowds to offer a peaceful refuge at the end of a busy day. There are a few very good restaurants just a short walk down the street which proved to be very convenient for our evening meal. We are very likely to return.

Our room was cosy, nice view ti the street from the window. Restaurants and minimarkets were near by, Metro station was also quite near. We really liked the breakfast and it changed nicely every Morning. Thank You! The receptionists were very helpful and they were always smiling :)

A charming street and a perfect location, just 10 minutes walk to the Prague Castle grounds and well located to tram at Nicholas Square, Charles Bridge. The people are most gracious and hard working and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious--like Sunday brunch every day. HOWEVER, this property needs painting, carpet, a deep clean and a security guard who does not use his key to enter your room at night without knocking.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Green Lobster in February. The location was great and the room we had was lovely. We couldn’t believe the size of it. Really nice to have such a large bathroom and also dressing room separate from the bedroom. We were a bit worried that the bed was going to be too hard for us, but we slept really well. The breakfasts were amazing. So much choice and all cooked and prepared so well. I never would have expected such choice from a small hotel. Can I thank all staff for wonderful service during our stay. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly; it was a real pleasure to be made so welcome. If/when we return to Prague we will definitely stay with you again, and would recommend you to anyone (without mobility issues, due to hill and stairs!). Thank you.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff couldn’t have been anymore help duo which is a rarity these days as good customer service is almost extinct - certainly not here! As most of the rooms online show 4 poster beds this is what we thought we would get when booking but you have to get a superior room for this so near that in mind but for the low cost the rooms were decent, spacious enough, peaceful and the cleaners came daily to tip up the complimentary teas and coffees and wash kits which was very nice. We did have a couple of issues which is why I couldn’t have given a 5 and one out of the two were resolved. Issue 1 was that the heating and hot water went as the boiler stopped working and the boiler which was in our room also serviced next door and although the very kind man in reception tried to give us keys to next door to help not didn’t resolve it meaning we had to wake up at 4 to travel home with no showers or heat but the hotel did refund us for that night. Second issue was when booking it showed a price in British pound which I confirmed and paid online via trip advisor but when the hotel billed me they over charged me. I then called them ( which cost me £30’in phone bill) and they would not refund the difference they simply put it down to the exchange rate which is fair enough had I been aware that I would agree one price and pay another and then pay £30’in calling costs to not reach a resolution. I’m not upset over that anymore out stqy was nice and worth the extra anyway. If I was to return to Prague I would stay again, but be warned it’s on the top of a steep hill!

The Green Lobster is a great place to stay in Prague. Big rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff and very well situated. Free Parking is not possible, but there is public parking nearby. I strongly can recommend this Hotel

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was large and unique with a large loft area (assume not all rooms are this way) and extra beds. Would be great for a family of 4. Very close to the castle. Staff was friendly. The portable air conditioner was loud, but with such a hot spell this July, we were happy to have air conditioning when many of our friend's rooms in other hotels did not have any air conditioning.

We stayed in room Albrecht, on the opposite side of the street. The room was absolutely amazing. Great location, in a beautiful street very near the Pargue castle, and a good bed. The only things that were lacking were a shower curtain and the ability to hang the shower head to the wall (so basically we had a bathtub only). But those were minor details in our opinion; I love bathing. It should be noted that this hotel is not suited for people with reduced mobility, since there was no elevator and in order to reach the hotel, you have to walk quite a bit uphill. However, this was not a problem for us. At first, we were unable to get the TV to work, but the receptionist helped us out very quickly, so service was good, although the receptionist could improve on his English. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

We enjoyed our stay at the Green Lobster, the room, the location and the service were all excellent. The only complaint I would have would be the pillows, I found them to be too soft in comparison to the bed, which was very firm. I like a firmer bed but the pillows were almost flat and did not give enough support. The street outside could be quite noisy early in the morning, however otherwise the location is perfect for the Castle and Lesser town.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Bedroom was spacious, clean and warm. Minor issue with the in-bath shower. It was slow and awkward to adjust to correct temperature. Very helpful service from Evgene in Reception. Thank you!

A superb hotel with attentive staff!! Room was bright spacious and a very comfortable bed. Excellent location a short stroll from both the Castle and Charles Bridge and I definitely have to mention the superb crepes served a few doors down. We stayed here for 2 nights as I was taking my girlfriend to Prague to propose and specifically wanted to stay here for the rooms. We had a great time and the hotel and the room I requested were perfect we couldn't have asked for more! The staff were also very helpful and we will definitely be coming back!

We paid for a standard room, so imagine our surprise when we were shown into a large apartment! It was beautiful and very clean. The bed was also very large and comfortable. In addition, there was also a single room and a large sofa bed. The young man on reception was also very pleasant and obliging, he came to our room immediately when a bulb had blown this morning.

Absolutely incredible stay, couldn't have asked for a better place for my first trip to Prague. I stayed with my partner for four nights. We booked an executive suite and stayed in a building opposite the main hotel. Our suite was the Mozart suite (all suites are named after famous people with a connection to Prague) it was simply stunning, we had a four poster bed and the ornate, hand-painted ceilings were so intricate, the suite was massive and beautifully decorated in greens and golds. We had the usual tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day and a TV which was hard to figure out, but we didn't watch it anyway. The wifi connection was great and we also had adequate storage and even a little outside terrace and an extra room with a single bed! The bathroom didn't have a shower (but a shower head on the tap) but this wasn't so much of an issue. The hotel is on a bit of a hill so probably not ideal for people who can't get around by foot as much. There was plenty to do around us, the hotel is situated on a road below the Castle grounds, you just take a set of steps on the right side of the road (looking up towards the monastery/petrin hill) and you are at the castle. Charles Bridge is also not far and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes dotted around close to the hotel. On the last day when we checked out the hotel allowed us to store our luggage whilst we took the day to explore Petrin Hill before returning to get our transfer. We couldn't believe the price either, so fantastic, and so happy with our stay. The room was clean and we had fresh towels etc everyday, and the hotel staff were happy to help, but mostly we just saw to ourselves and wanted to explore. It took around fifteen minutes to reach the main square with the Astronomical Clock and other must-see sights, overall a great location, great price and plenty of adequate facilities around the hotel to make our stay perfect!

This was our second stay at your hotel and as always we enjoyed it immensely however there were a couple of things that we thought we should draw to your attention. Our room was 401. Basically the room was lovely but a couple of things needed attention to make the stay even better. 1. There is no bin in the room ?! Only in the bathroom so we had no where to put rubbish. 2. The boiler is really noisy and keeps you awake at night. It either needs moving or some sort of noise insulation needs putting around it. 3. The TV. Both remotes didn't work and the only English channels were news channels ! Could more english speaking channels be connected? 4. The shower. It is not on a thermostatic value so it is very dangerous it is either red hot or freezing cold and is very hard to adjust to maintain a constant temperature. In addition the shower tray is very very slow draining so at the end of your shower toy are stood in a 8 cm depth of water. The drain needs unblocking. There is only one height for the shower this is a nightmare as you get your hair soaking wet when you use the shower. More brackets need to be provided. Some minor points but the above need addressing. Regards Phil Davis.

I travelled to Prague with my girlfriend for the first weekend in December and we booked one of the Executive rooms. The room was spacious, very elegant, well looked after and clean. The hotel is located in a great area, which is close to many restaurants and the centre. We had a very good time. the room was great and perfect for romantic weekends. The two concierge were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the hotel and the Executive rooms that are available
